Cape Royal, located in western Cape Coral, is a desirable neighborhood for golf enthusiasts. Cape Royal is Cape Coral’s only private golf community. The 27 holes of championship golf at Cape Royal Golf Club are the pride of the community, which is surrounded by lush Florida foliage. Because membership is paid for on a round-by-round basis, even those who rarely or never play golf can take advantage of the club’s low annual dues.

It’s easy to lose sight of Cape Royal’s prime location amidst all the lush foliage. Its proximity to Pine Island Road and Burnt Store Road makes getting to and from Pine Island, Fort Myers, and points north very convenient. The convenient location of the Publix supermarket makes grocery shopping a breeze, and nearby dining options like El Toro Mexican Bar & Grill provide variety.

Real estate in Cape Royal consists of detached single-family homes on larger lots than are typical in the greater Cape Coral area. Smaller, less updated homes, typically with three bedrooms and two or two and a half bathrooms, begin in the low half a million dollar range. One of the most expensive areas in Cape Coral, however, with homes starting in the high six figures and going up to over a million. Residents save money on taxes and fees thanks to the neighborhood’s location outside of Cape Coral’s official city limits.

Cape Royal is found north of Veterans Parkway off Pine Island Road in Cape Coral. Single-family homes on large lots are the norm in Cape Royal. Many of the homes in this community have stunning views of the water provided by the 22 lakes found there. Cape Royal is known for its spacious lots and luxurious homes set amongst meticulously maintained golf course fairways. Cape Royal’s prime location among the city’s many canals and waterways makes it convenient for residents to get to just about anywhere in Cape Coral, including the area’s best shopping, golfing, tennis courts, boating opportunities, beaches, and top-notch educational facilities.

You can unwind at the clubhouse’s grill and lounge when you’re not “hitting the links” or after a long game. After a strenuous tennis match, you can relax in the pro shop and check out the latest offerings, where you might even decide to buy that fancy new racket you’ve been eyeing.

There is a good selection of restaurants and stores within a short drive of the elementary school, so it comes as no surprise that it is located in this area. Packing up the car or boat and heading out to the beautiful beaches of Sanibel and Captiva on a Saturday morning is a no-brainer. Edison Mall can be found in nearby Ft. Myers, and other outlet malls like Tanger and Miromar are within a half-drive.
