Newly remodeled or otherwise exceptional properties can fetch $1–3 million or more on the market. Luxury homes typically have more than 4,000 square feet of space and up to six bedrooms.

 

Since its opening in 1962, the Yacht Club Community Park’s waterfront facilities have been a popular attraction for both locals and tourists. The Yacht Club in Cape Coral has been a haven for sunbathers and boaters for nearly 60 years, making it one of the city’s most historically significant locations.

 

The Yacht Club neighborhood can be found in southeast Cape Coral, between the Cape Coral Parkway and the Caloosahatchee River to the north and the Bimini Canal to the west. Most of the Yacht Club area has direct deep water sailboat access to the gulf, making it one of the best places in Southwest Florida to go boating. Few places in Southwest Florida still offer homes with reasonable access to sailboats at reasonable prices.

 

The homes in this historic area range from the 1960s to brand new, high-end mansions. As a result, many astute homebuyers have been snatching up older properties in the Yacht Club district with the intention of either restoring them or demolishing them to start over.
